These terms of service govern your use of DiceRoll (the "Service"). By creating an account or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the Service.
DiceRoll is a virtual tabletop (VTT) for playing tabletop role-playing games online. It provides tools for game rooms, maps, tokens, character sheets, dice rolling, real-time chat, and collaboration between players and game masters. The Service is system-agnostic: it is designed for any tabletop role-playing game and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any game publisher. You are responsible for ensuring that you hold the rights to any rules, materials, or content you use within the Service.
To create your own account you must be at least 13 years old. Younger users may use the Service only with the consent and under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian, who accepts these terms on their behalf. By using the Service you confirm that the information you provide during registration is truthful and that you meet these requirements.

You retain ownership of the content you create or upload — such as characters, maps, tokens, notes, and messages ("User Content"). By submitting User Content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, display, and transmit it solely as necessary to operate and provide the Service to you and the people you share it with. You confirm that you hold all rights necessary to submit your User Content and that it does not violate these terms or the rights of any third party. We may remove or restrict any content that breaches these terms or applicable law. You are responsible for keeping your own backups of important content.
The Service may include, or allow you to use, rules, mechanics, and other materials that originate from various tabletop role-playing systems and sources, some of which are made available under open or free licences (for example Creative Commons or open gaming licences). Such materials remain the property of their respective authors and publishers and are used in accordance with the terms of the applicable licence.
Any such content is provided "as is" under the terms of its respective licence. You are responsible for ensuring that you hold the rights to any third-party rules, artwork, or materials you import, upload, or otherwise use within the Service.
The Service may offer optional features powered by third-party artificial-intelligence providers — for example, generating story text, descriptions, or images. When you use these features, the content you submit (such as prompts and relevant context) is sent to the AI provider for processing. AI-generated output may be inaccurate, incomplete, generic, or unintentionally similar to existing works, and it does not constitute professional advice. You are responsible for reviewing and for how you use any AI-generated output. These features are provided "as is", may depend on your plan, and may be changed, limited, or discontinued at any time.
The Service may offer free and paid plans, premium features, and an in-app economy that includes virtual currency ("coins") and a marketplace for virtual items and content. Coins and virtual items are a limited, personal, non-transferable licence to use features within the Service. They have no monetary value, cannot be exchanged for cash, and cannot be sold or transferred outside the Service.
We may introduce, modify, reprice, expire, or remove virtual goods, rewards, plans, or economy features at any time. Where paid plans or purchases are offered, the applicable prices, billing cycle, and your statutory withdrawal and consumer-protection rights will be presented to you before you complete the purchase.
The Service itself — including its software, design, branding, name, logo, and original content — is owned by the operator of DiceRoll and protected by intellectual-property laws. Except for the rights expressly granted to you in these terms, you may not copy, modify, distribute, reverse-engineer, or create derivative works from the Service without our prior written consent.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that any content, AI output, or data will be accurate or preserved. You use the Service at your own risk.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for loss of data, content, profits, or goodwill arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law, including your statutory rights as a consumer.
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these terms, misuse the Service, or where required by law. Where reasonable and lawful, we will give you notice. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (such as content licences already granted, disclaimers, and limitations of liability) will continue to apply.
We may update these terms from time to time. We will inform you of significant changes by e-mail or through a notice in the Service. Changes take effect when published, and your continued use of the Service afterwards constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
